“Toutes à Paris 2012”: a successful premiere!

Toutes à Paris, the first women’s cycling meeting, was held in Paris on september 16th, 2012. Conceived and developed by two FFCT’s board members, Roselyne Depuccio and Jacklyne Jahan, this first edition was very successful.

More than 5 000 ambassadors of the “Petite reine”, coming from everywhere in France, met together near the Eiffel Tower, after a 4 – 14 days trip (between 200 and 1 500 km). The highlight of this trip was the 12 km route in the heart of the French capital, during which they discovered the most famous Parisian monuments. A giant picnic completed this cycling festival. The event was supported by many personalities, insitutions and has been well covered by the media.

This first challenge organised by the FFCT showed that women are able to achieve long cycling tours, at their own pace and autonomously.
